2. Attorney-Client Relationship

3. Independent Attorneys / State-Specific Representation

Adulting Docs works with attorneys licensed in various jurisdictions. Legal services are provided by the attorney licensed in the applicable state who is assigned to the matter.

Not all services are available in all jurisdictions.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as an offer to provide legal services in any jurisdiction where doing so would violate applicable law or professional responsibility rules.

Attorneys providing services through Adulting Docs may be independent contractors and not employees of Adulting Docs.

4. Limited Scope of Services

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, representation is limited to the preparation of the specific documents identified in the engagement agreement, which may include:

  • Advance Directives,
  • Medical Powers of Attorney,
  • Financial Powers of Attorney,
  • HIPAA Authorizations,
  • and related documents.

Representation does not include litigation, court appearances, tax advice, business planning, immigration advice, or ongoing legal representation unless separately agreed in writing.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide complete, truthful, and accurate information. Adulting Docs and its affiliated attorneys may rely on information provided by you without independent verification.

You are responsible for reviewing all documents carefully before signing.

6. Electronic Communications

By using this website, you consent to electronic communications, including emails, text messages, scheduling notifications, and document delivery.

Electronic communications may not always be secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of electronic transmissions.

7. Payment Terms

Fees for legal services will be disclosed prior to engagement.

Unless otherwise stated in a signed engagement agreement:

  • fees are earned upon delivery of completed documents,
  • payments may be processed electronically,
  • and all sales are final once documents have been prepared and delivered.

Adulting Docs reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if payment is not received.

8. Refund Policy

Refund requests prior to commencement of legal work may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Once substantive legal work has begun or documents have been delivered, refunds generally will not be provided except as required by applicable law or professional responsibility rules.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, branding, logos, forms, videos, downloads, and design elements, is the property of Adulting Docs or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or exploited without prior written permission.
